Flowkey, the biggest multi-platform piano learning app, fulfills the aspirations of countless music enthusiasts. It introduces note recognition technology that provides immediate feedback as you play, ensuring accurate note execution and facilitating self-paced song mastery.
The main focus in my work area spans from concept design to crafting new video, image, and motion designs, all with a central aim of improving the user experience.
The Course Presentation Videos serve as short previews for the upcoming course content and lessons. I crafted these videos with the purpose of providing users with easily digestible glimpses, aiding them in visualizing forthcoming exercises. The videos feature straightforward edits and clear title animations to prevent the user from feeling overwhelmed.
There are nine variations tailored for phone, tablet, and desktop, each with localization options for 12 different languages.
On the flowkey landing page, I focused on a redesign to improve its immersion, instructional clarity, and user accessibility.
For In-App Events, I crafted distinctive themed artworks with Midjourney and enhanced them using Photoshop. The final output is animated in AfterEffects to achieve a striking and unique appearance within both Apple's and Google's app stores, ensuring a cohesive presentation. The goal is to increase the visibility within the app stores. Every event is customized for eleven languages, with a few featuring audio.
The Player Onboarding video is a brief and informative clip crafted with the intention of providing users with easy access to the app's crucial functions and effective song-learning methods—such as setting loops, practicing hands separately, and utilizing different tempos or the Waitmode.
I created this video to facilitate user accessibility. It is localized for 16 countries and accessible on mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
